I’m Jan, a 50-year-old Midwest girl obsessed with beauty since my first dance recital, where I got my hands on blue eyeshadow, red lipstick, and way too much rouge. That moment sparked a lifelong love for makeup—not just as a way to look good, but as a way to express, experiment, and celebrate yourself.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in marketing communications, telling the stories of B2B brands across industries. I’ve spent my career uncovering what makes brands unique, finding the deeper narratives that connect people to products.
